Features to Avoid When Purchasing a Tent
Solid fiberglass poles - These poles are found in less expensive tents, and will shatter or break very easily.
Metal Zippers - Metal zippers will rust. Avoid purchasing a tent with metal zippers.
Staking Out - Avoid purchasing a tent that requires full staking out, as some surfaces will not allow staking (sand, rock).
Size - Be sure that the tent you purchase is the right size for you.
Wall Angle - Sharply angled walls provide stability, but do not allow for much interior space.
