Meals for Camping

I like to prepare everything at home or at least as much as I can. so I can spend as much time at doing nothing as possible. I also like to keep it quick and easy. For breakfeast we keep it simple. We bring fruit, oatmeal, donnettes. I will bring some pancake mix all ready to go and have pancakes one morning. For lunch we usually have lunch meat, cheese, chips stuff like that, just enough to hold us over until dinner. For dinner I always bring some kind of steak usually fillet or ribeye. Sometimes I bring hot chicken wings. I will make them at home the day before I go camping and keep them in the Fridge. When I am ready to eat them I put them in heavy duty tin foil and heat them up on the fire for about 10 minutes. nothing like hot chicken wings when your camping. I like to cook ribs to, because they are easy to cook, they do take a little time to cook but they are worth it. What I do is get 2 slabs of ribs season them up, cut them in half put them in ziplock bags and throw them in the freezer until your ready to go camping. By the time your ready to cook the ribs they should be thawed out. The good thing about the ribs is you don't have to stand and check them every 10 minutes. Another favorite of ours is hamburgers & hotdogs or brats. Hamburgers are easy to make and don't take very long to cook,  just how I like it.
